Preview the Proposed Changes to FMCSA's SMS Website

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has undertaken proposed changes and enhancements to its Safety Measurement System (SMS) website.  The SMS website allows companies and the public the ability to find safety information on motor carriers.  The proposed changes were based on stakeholder feedback of the current site.  It features a one-stop shop for FMCSA safety information and a more user-friendly navigation.  Motor carriers seeking to improve their safety performance may also find important information more easily on the revised site.  The proposed SMS redesign was announced in a Federal Register Notice and provided a 60-day comment period.  The public can preview the proposed changes at  https://csa.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMSPreview/.
