DOT Guidance on Compliance with DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations

On March 23, 2020, the USDOT Office of Drug and Alcohol Compliance and Enforcement (ODAPC) issued a guidance document to provide clarity to DOT-regulated employers, employees, and service agents on conducting DOT drug and alcohol testing given concerns about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

FMCSA COVID-19 Drug and Alcohol Testing Guidance

On March 24, 2020, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) issued a guidance document with recommended actions for FMCSA-regulated employers unable to conduct alcohol and drug testing due to COVID 19. This guidance is currently in effect until May 30, 2020.
