URGENT DEA PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT- FAKE PHARMACIES

DEA Issues Warning About Illegal Online Pharmacies
On October 4, 2024, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration reported a rise in illegal online pharmacies distributing counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl and methamphetamine. These fake medications are being sold to unsuspecting customers in the United States, who believe they are purchasing legitimate drugs like Oxycodone, Adderall, Xanax, and others from authorized pharmacies.

“Laboratory testing indicates that 7 out of every 10 pills seized by the DEA contain a lethal dose of fentanyl. In 2023, the DEA has already seized a record 79.5 million fentanyl pills, surpassing last year’s total of 58 million pills.” DEA.gov/onepill
