FMCSA Orders Four Motor Carriers to Shut-down

Four motor carriers were told to shut-down immediately due to disregard of the federal safety regulations put in place by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Three out of the four companies that were shut-down, did not adhere to DOT Regulations CFR 49 Part 40, also known as the Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs.

The passenger carriers that were shut-down are Woodburn’s Tours and Travel, LLC based out of East Point, Georgia and Motts Transportation, INC. based out of Cordesville, South Carolina. The two trucking operations that fell out of compliance are GEG Construction, INC out of Indian Orchard, Massachusetts and Allen Quandahl, LLC based out of Waukon, Iowa.
